Frequently asked questions.

Do you allow service animals?

The Aspen Golf Club adheres to all ADA requirements regarding service animals:

Only dogs are recognized as service animals under titles II and III of the ADA.

  • Emotional support animals do not qualify as service animals under the ADA, and therefore are not allowed at Aspen Golf Club.

  • Service animals must remain harnessed, leashed, or tethered, unless these devices interfere with the service animal’s work or the individual’s disability prevents using these devices.

  • If the animal is out of control and the handler doesn’t take effective action to control it or if the animal is not housebroken, the individual will be asked to remove the service animal from the premises.

  • ADA does NOT require entities to modify policies, practices, or procedures if it would “fundamentally alter” services, programs, or activities provided to the public.

For more information, view the full ADA Service Animals Requirements document.

Do you allow spectators?

Spectators are permitted provided they:

  • Do not require additional golf carts

  • Negatively impact other golfers

  • Interfere with the pace of play
