What is a Primary Resident?

What makes Aspen such a special place is the people who call it home. Many people visit and vacation in Aspen or own a home they spend the summers in. The real lucky ones are able to call Aspen and the Roaring Fork Valley their home YEAR ROUND!

The Aspen Golf Club hosts an average of 30,000 rounds of golf every year in a 6-7 month window! This is double that of other similar facilities . As a municipal golf course, it’s imperative to ensure primary residents have access. It’s also important to ensure all golfers enjoy their experience with an appropriate pace of play. To accomplish both of these, we must limit the number of golf passes sold and offer golf passes first to those that are Primary Residents.

Eligibility as a Primary Resident requires you to provide a Colorado State Issued ID showing one of the 7 zip codes listed below. This must be done online between January 8th -31st.
