Passholder Benefits

Annual Steps to Become a Passholder

The Aspen Golf Club has been a community asset for the upper Roaring Fork Valley since 1961. Our primary purpose is to provide primary residents an affordable golfing opportunity. With that, we offer golf passes first to those that can provide proof of being a primary resident with a local drivers license.

The high demand for golf passes has forced us to limit the number sold annually. This is to ensure we are able to provide tee time availability and an enjoyable pace for those that purchase a pass. However, those that present a local drivers license at check-in may receive a reduced rate for being a primary resident.

“Primary Resident Verification” takes place in January with the initial golf pass sale taking place in February. Any remaining golf passes are sold to the general public in March. All verification and purchasing of passes is done online ONLY. Once the golf season begins we ask all passholders to make reservations online via the new app or the website.

What is a Primary Resident?

What makes Aspen such a special place is the people who call it home. Many people visit and vacation in Aspen or own a home they spend the summers in. The real lucky ones are able to call the upper Roaring Fork Valley their home YEAR ROUND!

As a municipal golf course, our top priorities are:

  1. Prioritizing tee times to “Primary Residents”.

  2. Ensuring an enjoyable & appropriate pace of play.

To accomplish these, we must limit the number of golf passes sold and offer golf passes first to those that are “Primary Residents” of the qualifying zip codes.

Eligibility of this status requires ANNUAL proof of a Colorado State Issued ID showing one of the 6 zip codes listed to the right. This must be done online between Dec 15th - January 30th.
